natural retinol
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I was excited to trial this retinol as I was looking out for one that was more natural as other retinols have irritated my skin. I have heard of the Antipodes brand before but never tired it. On first impression, I like the glass bottle with the drop applicator. It contains natural oils and smells so nice and natural. After cleansing my face at night I would apply a few drops and massage it into my skin before I go to bed. The first time I used this I think I applied too much and my face felt very oily and in the morning my skin had breakouts which never happens for me. I kept using this with only a couple of drops and my skin isnt breaking out anymore. I have yet to notice much improvement with my fine lines and wrinkles.

Oily feeling serum needs more time to test
3* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received this at the Beauty Heaven Natural Beauty Month event and have used it nightly as directed for about a week (we had another serum to trial so I couldn’t do the full two weeks). Antipodes is an Australian company who I believe have recently returned to BH. This serum comes in a brown glass bottle with a dropper. It is clear and has quite an oily feel when you first apply it, and that is when you first get the nice smell of rose. It contains Bakuchiol, a natural retinol alternative and cacay oil (from a plant in the Euphorbiaceae family), a natural vitamin A, which are apparently gentler on skin than synthetic vitamin A derived retinol. As my mature combination skin never has any issues with sensitivity, I don’t know how true this is, you will need to read reviews from those who have problems using retinol. The website says Bakuchiol can be used day or night even though the back of the bottle says use at night (retinol should apparently be used only at night). I found it didn’t absorb completely but it didn’t’ really leave my skin feeling oily or tacky. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, and hopefully this will continue after the trial but it is too short a timeframe to tell right now. I will keep using it at night and hope for great things. It’s a bit too early to recommend it as a product that works but I will recommend it as a product to try.

Fabulous silky lightweight oil/serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* Have received this product at the Beauty Heavens Natural Beauty Month Event. Star product for me. It comes in a dropper bottle. It is an oil, lightweight , silky "dry oil". Spreads like a dream, softens my skin instantly. No coated feel. Star ingredients are bio retinols that stimulate collagen type 1 more than 4 leading brands with pure retinol in their formulas. I have seen the results of the study (but will not mention brands tested). This serum had best results at 55% stimulation of collagen type 1. Meanwhile high % of one of the leading pure retinol serums not even half of this! Retinol high as one I used (was part of the study) can irritate the skin when used daily. Men]awhile this serum oil is so gentle and does not irritate my skin not even slightest. Impressive ingredients list, no nasties. Star ones are cacay , bakuchiol oils, prickly pear, kakadu plum oils. After using this serum oil my skin is plump, juicy, smooth, healthy, glowing. Hoping with time even more bouncier as time is needed for those fibroblasts to wake up, get to work and do their thing.

Nice retinol alternative serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I have long used Retinol for my skin at night for brightening and fine lines reduction. But its notorious reputation for causing irritation and sensitivity has deterred many from fully embracing its potential. I was so excited when Antipodes introduced their Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reduction Serum to try because they have brilliantly harnessed the power of natural bio-retinol alternatives to create a serum that works harmoniously with the skins delicate balance. It is gentle and did not cause an irritation when used in appropriate amounts. I also found my fine lines have reduced appearance. I applied it at night before my moisturiser. It is such a nice product which is not greasy or sticky.Â

Rose scented serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received these at the Beauty heaven Natural Beauty Month Marketplace Event. This is a lovely lightweight, non-greasy serum which has a lovely light rose scent that I really like. My skin felt hydrated and plump after using it at night. My skin looked happy and nourished in the mornings after using. There was no irritation or break outs which is great because my skin can be a little sensitive to new products. I didnt really notice any fine line reductions but maybe with further use there may be some improvements.

Smoother Skin
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received this serum at the Natural Beauty Month Marketplace Event and have been applying it each night. The packaging is attractive and the serum is easy to apply. It has a slightly oily feel which absorbs into the skin quickly leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I love that the ingredients are natural and I have not had any irritation. It feels luxurious when applying and my skin looks smoother and feels softer since using this serum. My fine lines appear to be less visible. I am eager to continue using this serum and I would have no hesitation in recommending it, especially as it contains quality natural ingredients.

Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reduction Serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* This Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reduction Serum is wonderful, I tried it for the past 2 weeks and it has already shown me great results. I have 2 deep lines in my forehead from frowning and I have found a slight improvement so far. I use at night for bets results and will keep going to see if it works any further. It is not fragranced so not overpowering at all. It comes in a cute bottle and can be used morning and night or just at night after showering. I like this brand and the serum so would recommend.

Best my skin has ever been
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* This serum is a nightly serum that helps fight aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It contains bio-retinol, a natural plant-based alternative to synthetic retinol, that is gentle on the skin and suitable for sensitive skin types. It also contains hyaluronic acid, bakuchiol, and rosehip oil to hydrate, smooth, and brighten the skin. I have really enjoyed using it as it is so silky on my skin and I feel there has been a nice difference in my appearance. I feel fresher and rejuvenated.

Great serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received the Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinol Serum at the Natural Beauty Month Marketplace Event in Sydney. I have used many Antipodes products over the years especially their serums and oils and have enjoyed them all. This serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. The oil is a light texture and absorbed quite quickly into my skin. I added a basic moisturiser on top of the oil as my night time routine. I did not find the product too oily at all. My face felt hydrated and supple the next day. I have not used this for long enough to comment on the line reduction aspect but am hopeful that it will. All the natural ingredients like cacay oil, bakuchiol, prickly pear oil and Kakadu plum oil sounds amazing.

5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received this as part of the bh natural beauty month event. I had never tried antipodes products before and I am super impressed. This serum is amazing. Ive only been using it for 2 weeks, but Im already converted! It leaves a beautiful glow on your skin and smells wonderful. Its very easy to apply with the dropper and absorbs into the skin in about a minute. I use this at night before applying eye cream and moisturiser. I found 3 drops is the perfect amount to cover my face and neck. Its hydrating and leaves my skin feeling balmy and soft. Would definitely recommend.
