Natural retinol serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received the Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinal Line Reduction Serum at the Beauty Heaven Natural Beauty Month event. Thank you, Beauty Heaven, for the opportunity to review this product. This product comes in a 30ml brown/black glass bottle with an eyedropper lid. The bottle has the Antipodes green label with white writing. It states that the serum has been certified organic, that 100% of the ingredients come from natural sources and 90% of ingredients come from organic cultivation. It is made in New Zealand. As this product contains bio-retinol which is a natural retinol, this serum is best used at nighttime after cleansing. Three or four drops is all that is required. A small amount goes a long way. I leave the serum a few minutes to absorb into my skin and then follow it with my moisturiser. I have not had any tingling sensations with this natural retinol as I have had in the past from other retinol products. My skin tends to be sensitive and in the normal to dry range. My skin feels soft and hydrated after using this serum and I have had no adverse reaction to it. With further use I am hoping to see a reduction in my fine lines.

Hydrating oil
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received the Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reducing Serum at the Beauty Heaven Natural Beauty Month event, and have been absolutely loving using it! The serum is a nourishing oil that makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated. It really makes my skin feel wonderful! I love that 100% of ingredients are from natural origin. Coming in a glass bottle with a dropper top, the serum is easy to apply. The fragrance is a lovely botanical scent, with rose combined with hints of the other plant oils - it reminds me of a luxury day spa. For a product with retinol (bio-retinols), I expected there would be some active feeling of stinging or irritation, but there was absolutely no discomfort for my skin at all, and in fact, the serum feels soft and soothing, like a facial oil. I have never used Antipodes products before, but I am very keen to try more from the range, as I love this oil-rich beautiful serum.

In love with this serum and brand
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I was greatly surprised to see the Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reduction Serum offered ahead of its official global launch on Sep 1 as part of Beauty Heaven Natural Beauty Month. I have been an avid retinol user and am constantly looking to new products to add to my skincare routine. I have heard numerous positive reviews about the Antipodes brand and was eager to experience first-hand the hype. This oil-like serum comes in an amber glass bottle with dropper and the deep rose fragrance is subtle without being overpowering. 3-4 drops were applied nightly to the face and neck, which I then followed with my usual night moisturizer, and the serum was absorbed rapidly and left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I have not experienced any irritation that sometimes occurs with other retinol products although I do wonder what the retinol % in this serum is compared to other retinol products on the market. I have only trailed this serum for a fortnight, which is not long enough for me to observe visible improvements to fine lines, however I have enjoyed how smooth and radiant my skin has become. I will continue to use this serum in my nightly routine as retinol is always a key ingredient in the fight against signs of aging.

I look forward to using this for nighttime. Lets start with the scent. Its a subtle rosy botanical fragrance that adds a relaxing and pleasant touch to my skincare routine without being overpowering or artificial. Its a nice, natural bonus. Using the serum is straightforward. You dont need much, so the bottle lasts a good while. Its lightweight texture makes it easy to apply, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. This serum is a natural skin care option utilising NZ botanicals and luxurious oils to support improved skin texture, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, enhanced hydration, and a radiant complexion. It does so by promoting cell turnover, soothing and protecting the skin, and addressing concerns like dark spots. Whats been particularly useful for me is its versatility. Ive found it works well as a facial oil for my gua sha practice. The consistency provides enough slip for a smooth massage, and it aids in circulation and relaxation.

Awesome Natural Retinol Serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* Thank you BH for giving me the opportunity to attend the Natural Beauty Month event and witness the pre-launch of Antipodes Eve Bio-retinol line reduction serum. This serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product, for me 3 drops were enough for my face and neck area, the product gets easily absorbed in the skin and makes my skin glow from within. I am yet to notice reduction in fine lines around my mouth and eye area but can already see my skin becoming firmer and smooth. I was also informed at the event that it is naturally derived retinol thus safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding too which I think is amazing.

Brighter skin
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* Alternative to retinol and claims to be safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. I use this nightly after cleaning my face. Earthy scent which I dont notice after applying. I then top with a cream moisturiser. Slight oily feeling however not as thick as an oil but thicker than other serums. The main ingredients are oils but it also contains Squalane which is nice to see. I havent noticed any reductions to the fine lines on my face but my skin does appear to be brighter. I am in my early 30s. The serum comes with a screw top dropper which is hygienic and easy to use.

Feels beautiful/nourishing
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received this reduction serum at the natural beauty month that was held by BH. The ingredients sound great, and definitely what I am looking for ie) reducing lines and a natural serum. For reference, I have super dry skin and prone to some acne/sensitivity as well, so finding the balance is always tricky for me. Since using the item I havent found any extra breakouts or skin sensitivities so thats firstly a win. Secondly, it seems my skin is a bit less dry, so thats a double win. Overall, happy with it and only removed one star as havent seen any reduction in lines (yet), but you usually need a longer usage period to see reductions, so I will give an updated review later on depending how the results go.

Natural and gentle
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I am a long time lover of Antipodes skincare, their products have always been such a delight to use and are top notch quality. When we were introduced to Eve Bio-Retinol Serum at the BH Natural Beauty Month event I was instantly intrigued. This formula has an all natural approach with 100% of its ingredients being of natural origin. I do not have a high tolerance for retinol, and I am usually a little scared when trying out new retinol products if Im honest. So far though I have been ok with this serum, I havent experienced any sensitivity or breakouts as of yet. I havent noticed a huge difference in my skin, it looks fresh, revitalized, and possibly a little more plump. But hopefully with more use I will see more improvement with my fine lines and wrinkles. I wanted to also mention, I find the smell of this serum a little overwhelming. Usually I dont mind rose scented skincare however I found this a little strong. Overall a fabulous quality serum though, I am excited to keep using this and monitor my future results.
