The best natural Retinol serum
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* Antipodes have a great range of serums and I used to love their Rosehip oil (went through 2 bottles) back when I was in university. Therefore I really did have high expectations for this new Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reduction Serum. The star natural ingredient is bakuchiol which has similar benefits to retinoids as it appears to stimulate collagen. According to scientific studies, this product stimulates collagen up to 55% which is very powerful compared to department store brands retinol serums in the market. I have been using it every night and I could see positive results within the first 1-2 days. My skin looks brighter and gives me a healthy glow in the morning. There is no sticky residue feeling and it did not cause any break out. I am unable to comment on the reduction of wrinkles as I am in my mid-20s. However, I do love to include retinol product in my nighttime skincare routine for prevention measures.

Quality hydrating night serum`
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received this as part of the recent BH event. What a joy to use! I have been using this every evening after my shower. It comes with a dropper making it easy to apply although personally, I think its more hygienic and actually easier if its pump bottle. The serum is thicker than most so its definitely ideal for night time use, underneath your moisturiser. I have been using this for two weeks and my face feels super hydrated. The smell is subtle and to be honest, not a nice smell but its only subtle, so it doesnt really bother me too much.

Very Impressed
5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I received the product as a trial during Natural Beauty Month, and must say I am really impressed. I love the fact that the ingredients are all natural, and it is easy to use as it has a dropper. You dont need very much - two to three drops does my entire face and neck, with really good coverage. It is an oil, so I did find it a little to heavy to use on my face of a morning, but using it at night, is just fantastic. You feel as though your skin is drinking it in, and in the morning I found my skin looks so much more hydrated and firm. I must say I was really impressed with it. It smells great and apparently it stimulates collagen, so I am hoping to see some great results in regard to reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as I have mature skin. I would definitely recommend giving this a go.

Nice Serum
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I Received the Antipodes Eve Bio-Retional Line Reduction Serum at the beauty heaven Natural Beauty Month. This oil serum has a nice texture and absorbs really nicely into the face. I have stopped using all my other serum and have been using this instead. It makes my skin feel so much more smoother and refined. The benefits this serum is amazing, you truly see a differences even after one use. I do have quite sensitive skin and my skin has not had any reaction to this serum which is a big plus. Glad to be able to use an alternative Retional while getting the same benefit.

Antipodes Reduction Serum
4* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I was super fortunate to be invited to the Natural Beauty Month Marketplace event a few weeks back. Among the goodies received I tried the Antipodes bio-retinol reduction serum. Ive heard so many rave reviews about this brand, it is my first time using the product as well. It comes in a cardboard packaged box in a lovely dark green and gold embossing. The product itself comes in a dropper type bottle. It is easy to use, a few drops into the palm of your hand and I gently apply to my face after cleansing. It is not too thick or sticky on my face. My face feels glowy, hydrated after one use and plump after a week.

natural derived retinol
3* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* Received this product from natural beauty month event thanks to BH. This Eve Bio-Retinol serum comes in the unique Antipodes recyclable packaging. The glass bottle is a cute 30ml size and the scent is divine my senses are at ease just by smelling it and has a good price point. This serum is mainly made from natural origin, this is versatile as this serum can be used on all skin types including reactive. The serum absorbs well into my skin and I started with using 1-2 and then eased into the 3-4 drops to my face, neck and decolletage. I have noticed a an little difference in my lines and an issue where I purging at my jawline and am wondering if that is a reaction coming from the bakuchiol; I will continue to monitor this area.

5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* I’ve been a massive fan of Antipodes skincare for years and have tried a lot of their products during my years of being a beauty blogger. I hadn’t even gotten a press release for this yes, so I was surprised to see the pre-launch debut of the Eve Bio-Retinol Line Reducing Serum at the BH Natural Beauty Month event! Brand notes: Antipodes constantly delivers effective natural skincare that utilises Aotearoa’s (NZ) endemic botanicals. Product notes: This new vegan friendly serum from Antipodes is a non-retinoid based formula that utilises botanical alternatives that gives similar results to retinoids for reducing the appearance of fine lines and improving skin texture. It can be used by all skin types by applying 3-4 drops on cleansed skin before moisturiser to wake up to refreshed skin. Formula and packaging notes: This lightweight concentrate is actually an emulsion, despite looking and feeling like oil, because it contains (some) water, which unlike oils, it actually provides a small amount of hydration, plus it has esters of Macadamia and Jojoba which are actually lighter feeling than their oil counterparts. It contains Cacay Oil aka Sacha Inchi Oil, known for its Vitamin A content (which according to my limited capacity in Googling scholarly articles and being hit by paywalls because I’m not longer a student) is actually indeed in the form of Retinol, but it also utilises Bakuchiol, the hero non-retinoid that has been shown to deliver the same results as using a Retinol based serum, it also has precious Prickly Pear Oil, the other (extremely precious) Moroccan oil, and our very own Australian endemic Kakadu Plum Oil, full of Vitamin C. It has a light rose fragrance, so it might not be for everybody. It comes in an amber glass dropper bottle to protect the product from light. Thoughts: I’ve used this serum every night for a week, which isn’t enough to see results, but I’m not mixing my trial team products together, and I am so far happy with it. I think it’s enough for my skin as a standalone product, even when I’m using my blemish treatments underneath. My skin isn’t purging or showing any signs of irritation. It really works nicely if I spray some of the Antipodes Ananda Toner underneath and keep the hydration locked in. The formula is so silky smooth and light that it just sinks right in. I think it would be much nicer without the rose fragrance, which is also found in many of their products, but that’s just a personal thing for me because I’m not a huge fan of florals.

5* Review collected as part of a sampling promotion* One use and my skin looks plump and brighter. I received this as part of the bhnaturalbeautymonth. I have eczema around my eyes and the flare up has been hard. So instead of testing on my eyes, I used it all over the face. Im a huge fan of antipodes products. This serum gave my face a nice glow instantly. It its lightweight and non-sticky. The next day, my skin looks even and hydrated. So Im using this as my wkly anti-aging serum. Very easy to use as its a dropper. Nice scent. I use this serum as the last step of my routine. If its too strong, I recommend mixing into an eye cream without actives (in my case, a basic face cream)
