But as you might have noticed, there can be subtle differences between batches in terms of fragrance, colour, or consistency. If you’ve ever wondered why this happens, we're here to explain it, and more importantly, show you why it’s a good thing!
Which batch is correct? They all are!
Unlike synthetic skincare products, which are made in laboratories to ensure uniformity across every batch, our products are made with ingredients that come from nature itself. And nature is never static.
The plants and botanicals we use are subject to various environmental factors such as sunlight, rainfall, and temperature fluctuations. These elements influence the growth, development, and overall composition of the natural ingredients, meaning no two harvests are ever exactly alike.
These slight variations are a natural result of the growing conditions and the natural cycles of the plants we rely on.
No two avocados are the same
Take avocados, one of the key ingredients in many of our formulations, as an example. The size, ripeness, and oil content of an avocado will vary depending on factors like the weather during its growth period, the soil it was cultivated in, or the amount of water it received.
These variations contribute to slight changes in the texture, colour, and fragrance of the oil we extract – testament to the fact that you're receiving the purest and most unaltered form of this rich ingredient.
Think of it like the effect that a rainy season has on the taste of grapes used to make wine. Wine made from the same vines at the same vineyards tastes slightly different every single year!

Fragrance variations
All our fragrances are derived from nature – no synthetic fragrances are used in any of our formulations. Our fragrances are either COSMOS-certified, organic-certified, or 100% natural origin. This means you can expect minor variations between batches.
Our fragrance-free formulations are subject to a bit more variation. This is because of the seasonal variation in our base oils. When there is no added fragrance to enhance our base oils, you can expect to notice the seasonality between batches.
